MCHS Virtual Commons - Go check it out!

The uncertainty and disruption to our normal routines that we are currently facing because of COVID-19 can have a major impact on how we feel, our mental health.  Increased feelings of stress, anxiety, irritability and isolation are common.

It is important to recognize the signs of stress in ourselves and others so we may take steps to reduce the impact.  Below you will find the link to a guide on handling the stress of a national health crisis from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
This guide provides both the signs of stress and healthy coping skills that can be used to help.  If you feel you are experiencing distress and need to talk with a professional, please remember we have mental health counselors on staff, Mrs. Losser and Mr. Durr, who would be glad to talk with you or help you find resources.  If you have any mental health questions or concerns you may e-mail either of them.

Introducing MCHS Virtual Commons!
We have set up a Google Classroom where we will be posting mental health resources and coping skills.  The code to join that classroom is yikmfbh

Please let us know if we can help in any other way!
